Without exaggeration, when I get up in the morning, my first thought is how lucky I am to be in this shelter. We are so lucky to be sheltered from this wicked world. Nobody can predict the future, but all that can be done to protect us is being done. Everybody is so nice to us, even when cranky old people are sometimes a bit difficult.
While everybody on the staff deserves to be thanked, you deserve a special thanks. You are outstanding.
Thank you and all the staff for making everything so safe. It’s one less worry during this time. I feel lucky to be able to talk to Mom from the parking lot when i drop off supplies! She stands at the sliding door and we say hi, wave and blow kisses.
We are doing a FaceTime call tomorrow with my sons thanks to Tracey!
My family really appreciates the hard work going on to keep them all safe!
Please thank your staff for hanging in there and keeping my mother, Susan Schullstrom, safe. I am including my siblings.
I did a “porch visit” the other day and will do another one today. When I went to the front I was so impressed by all the precautions.
My mother on the phone is bearing up well, she has always been a role model to “bloom where you are planted.” But these are certainly trying circumstances.
Thank you again, it is such a relief to know that my mother is as safe as possible.

I'm so sorry for not acknowledging this earlier--I sent the photo around to the family, so thank you very much. But really I want to just say how much we all appreciate everything you are all doing at COGIR for my mom and all the residents. We are just so impressed with the care you are giving everyone during this difficult time--you've made mom feel so comfortable and safe! I know this must be hard on you and all the staff, especially as you have to be away from your families to take care of ours. We are so happy with COGIR and we know that mom is too. So THANK YOU so much!
