There are times when a place leaves you with an instant and deep impression. It’s a feeling known as je ne sais quoi, the French phrase often used to define the indefinable. As a company with deep roots in French-speaking Quebec, it’s no wonder that our brand of hospitality and care invokes a je ne sais quoi with residents, visitors and staff alike. And while each community reflects its unique area, all reside in a collection of senior living, assisted living, memory care and respite care residences created with the West Coast lifestyle in mind.
We are COGIR Senior Living— pronounce the “G” in our name softly like “Je” in je ne sais quoi. As a part of COGIR Real estate, we embrace the spirit of distinction that allows us to offer so much to seniors and their families right here on the West Coast.
From the neighborhoods of greater Seattle to locations surrounding the San Francisco Bay Area, families and employees can choose from over a dozen signature COGIR Senior Living communities. Seniors and their families can choose from the easy and active lifestyle and of independent living, or assisted living for those in need of an occasional hand. Many communities also have choices for those seeking respite or memory care. Together, our communities are staffed with over 700 skilled, compassionate employees sharing a common mission: to improving the lives of the seniors entrusted in their service and care.

I feel so rich having friends like you who make me feel loved and at home. When I needed a friend, my family found you, and I'm so grateful for all that you do for me and other residents. We all feel like family here and I always enjoy the delicious food and fun activities. I want you to know that I appreciate every one of you.Jackie
Without exaggeration, when I get up in the morning, my first thought is how lucky I am to be in this shelter. We are so lucky to be sheltered from this wicked world. Nobody can predict the future, but all that can be done to protect us is being done. Everybody is so nice to us, even when cranky old people are sometimes a bit difficult. While everybody on the staff deserves to be thanked, you deserve a special thanks. You are outstanding. ThanksWerner
Thank you and all the staff for making everything so safe. It’s one less worry during this time. I feel lucky to be able to talk to Mom from the parking lot when i drop off supplies! She stands at the sliding door and we say hi, wave and blow kisses. We are doing a FaceTime call tomorrow with my sons thanks to Tracey! My family really appreciates the hard work going on to keep them all safe! Thanks again!Laura
